An exclusive sale for our newsletter subscribers where they had a chance to hone their negotiating skills. Believe it or not our members pretty much named their own price. Yep! You heard right. All conventional wisdom went out the door along with happy customers!!
Carmen Q was back in December of 2015 to take over the store and consult with our newsletter members. This private event was scheduled in the beginning of the month so our customers could mark a few names off their holiday list while they enjoyed wine, bruschetta (from Trattoria Da Vittorio - ahhh, yum!) and the company of some other super fantastic ladies. As always, everyone left with San Marco's famous swag bag. Only those who attended know what goodies were inside.
We extended the store hours for our members to preview the fall season from Hammitt, along with our most recent brand, Mackage. It was a one night only event to discover and indulge. Whether it was the bubbly (Veuve Clicquot of course!!) or the chocolate that made the evening delightful, we know the special savings was the cherry on top!
Newsletter members had a four day jump start before the public to take advantage of our storewide sale. They got first dibs and worked up a sweat even in summer in San Francisco - it was a heated frenzy and a heck of a good a time!
Carmen Q set up shop just before Mother's Day in 2015 so our newsletter subscribers could experience her entire collection in our store. It was a packed house and everyone left a little wiser. Carmen shared her wealth of knowledge of jewelry accessorizing and color harmonizing, and even consulted with those wanting a little one-on-one time. Who knew you could balance a big head with a necklace! The wine flowed, gift bags were abundant, and everyone enjoyed the event whether they treated themselves for Mother's Day or not.
It was a secret between San Marco and our newsletter subscribers. Still can't divulge anything other than to say it was a big hit!!
Kumiko Furukawa was in the house to personally meet our newsletter members in November of 2014. Having recently launched her San Francisco brand (you don't get any more local than that) she wanted to experience first hand the launch of furuKawa at San Marco. It was a rare opportunity for our subscribers to meet and talk with the designer herself. Ever wonder how a handbag is made? Well... some of our newsletter members know how. Maybe next time it's a road trip to her design studio. How much fun would that be?
